Divine Security

Psalm 91: 1

He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High
Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

The world we live in is full of dangers, mishaps and tragedies. Thefts, murders, accidents, terrorist attacks, natural disasters, sudden deaths due to unknown diseases - have become so common that the news channels bring us increasing fear everyday with these new problems and threats.

There is no security for even the high class aircrafts which have the best possible safety measures and security checks. But for us - the children of God - there is a God who promises us to keep us from all these mishaps, from all the disasters.

         All we need to do, is "rest" under HIM. We need not fear any evil, although it might be happening all around us. God is with us and no evil can even touch us. Let us therefore be assured of this wonderful security we have in Jesus and thank HIM for keeping our hearts at rest.

  When the devil brings fear, let us run and hide under the wings of our awesome God! Let us boldly declare "I am the child of the Most High God. I will not fear any evil, I will not fear any man, for my trust and security is in the Almighty God who created this universe and nothing ever happens to me out of HIS control. I am washed by the blood of Jesus and no pestilence that may be attacking the whole world can even dare come near me. I lean on the Everlasting arms and rest in the shadow of the Almighty and I am safe from every harm, in Jesus' Name." With that, the devil will simply vanish and the "fear" he brings will turn to trust and peace. Our LORD Jesus will keep us safe and secure from every evil thing that might be plaguing our thoughts. Trust in HIM who never lies and enjoy a happy, peaceful life - a divinely secure life which cannot be given by the world.
