The Peace of God

The world today revolves around the word "money". For most people, it is money that matters most, for a good and blessed life. It is easy to believe that lie since we all live in this world where everything is commercialized and in fact the unit of measurement for richness is money. Sadly, this holds true even with the Christians. With advancements in technology and improvement in our economic status and increase in our bank account balance, do we have peace? With a few fake and selfish friends, some villain-like-teachers, pestering cycle tests, tight finances, certain jealous co-workers, short tempered customers, over demanding and ungrateful bosses, patience-testing-traffic-jam (when going for an urgent meeting), new diseases and strange allergies, heavy bills, loans-dragging-for-years, wrong number calls at the most inconvenient times, fake and limited warranty for expensive gadgets, nation-wide scams and corruption, it is easy to lose our peace
 and fall prey to stress, when we live in this cruel world.

Its not the monetary richness that can give us joy, but even the simplest meal, with a loving family, filled with laughter and joy, gives a pure happiness which comes right from the inside of our hearts! It is not the outside (money, wealth, High paying job) that can satisfy a man but rather the joy that comes from the inside. It is the fellowship, which is full of love and mutual, trust that can give us happiness. The fellowship with people is not very enjoyable nowadays since there are many barriers like selfishness, differences of opinion, pride and jealousy. But there is a God, who created us, who longs to enter into a beautiful relationship with us, who proved HIS love by sacrificing HIS own SON on the cross. Fellowship with HIM, who is pure love, can fill even the bruised and broken heart with limitless peace and can turn the mourning into dancing and the sorrows into pure joy!

Although true and complete joy can be found only in heaven, where there is GOD'S presence all the time, God has promised to bless HIS people on earth with divine joy whenever we enter HIS beautiful presence. GOD'S presence, if felt, can be one of the sweetest experiences on earth. Everyone would long for this true blessing if they experience it just once. Let us therefore seek GOD'S presence by constantly talking with HIM (HE is our best friend with whom we can share anything and everything), pondering upon HIS works and wonders, meditating on HIS Word and we would experience the greatest blessing of enjoying GOD'S presence in our lives and everlasting peace in our hearts. The circumstances can no longer affect our happiness when we walk with the LORD.
