Christian living is
nothing but a beautiful relationship with a great God who promises to bless
each day of our lives. His Word says that God showers new mercies each day -
just the right amount of favor and goodness we need for EVERY SINGLE DAY!!
Lamentations 3:23:
They (God's mercies) are new every morning;
great is your faithfulness.
We may define
blessing in our own, often selfish ways, like - Blessing is - to become one of
the most influential people in the world, to have monetary Riches, to have
great wealth, to do great ministry and So on. But I believe that the simple
things of life, which are often taken for granted, are the biggest blessings
from God. If we have everything for living today, that is a blessing!
To have a wonderful family, to have good health, to have Good food and
clothing, to have received salvation (God chose us - the undeserving), and to
have the breath of life - These are the blessings of God! Counting these
blessings and praising God for every single grace, Will make our life journey
to the celestial city, so much easier, simpler and happier! Let us not be like
the rich fool who did not know that riches have no value when we don't have
life to enjoy them! (Luke 12:20) But rather, delight in the simple joys we are
gifted everyday (by God) and thank Him for His faithfulness and goodness!! Amen.
