God-given talents for God-given dreams

Matthew 25:21
‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.’

God has crafted and planned the life of every single person, whose trust is in the Name of the Most High God!

God knows our divine destiny - His purpose and plans for our lives - and plants is as a seed in our hearts in the form of dreams. God has equipped each of us with all the required abilities, skills and talents that would be required on our journey towards the fulfillment of God given destiny. In the deep of our hearts, each one of us has got a God-given dream. Some nurture it but a few ignore it thinking it’s never going to happen with the limited skills they have or because of the bad circumstances they are in. We just need to trust God that if that dream in our heart is God-given, it would certainly come to pass and would be accomplished to perfection - by God Himself. God gives the exact amount of skills and talents that we require to accomplish the God given dreams. (Matthew 25: 15 - And to one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one, to each according to his own ability).

More often, we believe that our capabilities are not in par with what is required to fulfill our dreams, which may be true. But, God asks us to do only small things, which are totally within our capabilities, and God would do what we cannot! Do the natural and ordinary things that God expects of us and God would do the supernatural and extra-ordinary things which we cannot – As simple as that! Many people do not want to do those small things (out of laziness, pride or selfishness) and that's why they have trouble in progressing towards their dreams. If you've been given just a ten percent of the talents required for the accomplishment of your dreams, God expects you to do just that ten percent (which becomes hundred percent in your part since you've used up all the talents which you were gifted from above) and God completes the other ninety percent! But some may argue that they have just no talents at all that might be required to fulfill their dreams. I think they are so lucky, since all they need to do is, may be to just trust and obey God completely (Which becomes a hundred percent on their part) and God would take care of all the rest! But if we are entrusted with more talents, then I believe God expects more from us! (Luke 12:48 - For everyone to whom much is given, from him much will be required; and to whom much has been committed, of him they will ask the more) God Will not be pleased by the one who hides the God given talents inside himself, but God wants us to use our God given talents and double it - because God knew our capability and that's why HE gave us those talents - not to waste them away with our laziness, selfishness or pride.

Some biblical examples - Joseph used his God given wisdom (talent) in Potiphar's house, even though he was a servant, and in the prison even though he was a prisoner (Which was hundred percent in his part) and God did the rest and accomplished his God given dreams! The servant girl in Naaman's house just did her part of telling her mistress about Israel's prophet Elisha and God fulfilled her divine destiny (paving way for the healing of the honorable army general)!! Mordecai took up Esther and brought her up as a God fearing girl (a hundred percent of his part) and God fulfilled his God given dreams (Freedom and victory for his people - Jews)! David was faithful as a shepherd (He killed the lion and the bear risking his own life) and though he lacked military training (a skill that was absolutely necessary to be a King), God fulfilled his divine destiny and he became a King. So, be it bringing up children in fear of God (like Mordecai), doing GOD'S ministry, taking up a profession - All these dreams are equally important in the sight of God and if we do hundred percent of what is entrusted to us, we are in no way less than the ministers of God who do their hundred percent in ministering for God! All that matters is, how many percent of our God-entrusted-talents have we put to use? How many are still lying dormant inside our hearts (just like how the man with one talent hid it in the ground)?

Let us trust God and be faithful with all the talents and skills entrusted to us and God is more than faithful to accomplish our dreams in our lives!
