God is Good

Psalm 106: 1
Praise the Lord!
Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good!
For His mercy endures forever.

         God is good all the time - during our Good times, during our bad times and during our worst times! What we go through - whether good or bad - will never invalidate GOD'S goodness. His mercy resides with the people HE loves, always and forever. So whatever be our circumstance, let us declare GOD'S goodness which we have already seen in our lives and also for HIS goodness that we are yet to see in our future. This declaration is very important because this helps us understand that GOD'S mercy is with us all the time and it also helps us to trust HIM more - even when we don't necessarily feel like it. Some might say, "I agree that God is good, but in my life, I've never seen HIS goodness or HIS mercies. All I can see is dullness, rejection, sadness and pain. Had God been Good to me, would HE allow me to go through all these troubles?". By all physical senses and feelings, this might look like a valid argument. But, our walk in Christ is not by senses or sight or feelings, but it is by faith - an unshakeable trust in God that no matter what we go through now, God is good always and soon we will get to see HIS goodness and endless mercies in our lives. Only after we realize GOD'S goodness, will we be able to actually understand and appreciate the fact that all our past sorrows and sadness and rejection were for a reason and through it all God was faithful.

  Irrespective of our feelings, irrespective of what we go through, be it in our good times or bad times - let us always acknowledge that God is good. We may not be able to feel HIS goodness right now - But, let us be aware that what we go through is for a God-defined purpose and soon we will see HIS DIVINE GOODNESS! Even though we might feel that we are not in a blessed state, let us completely trust that there's something better and greater awaiting for us - Because God is So Good that HE wants to always Give ONLY the best! Our finance might be tight - But God is Good! Our job may be difficult -But God is Good! Our studies might be strenuous - But God is Good! Our burdens might be unbearable - But God is Good! Our situation might seem pathetic - But God is Good! Our life may be full of problems - But God is Good! Let us declare HIS GOODNESS with faith because, we are late bloomers, who would understand the very high standards of GOD'S plan, and HIS GOODNESS only after we receive it and feel it!
